The Training Seminar

The Training Seminar is an intensive two-day grants compliance workshop. Training session topics include: the federal compliance framework, program specific regulatory conditions, program guidelines for managers, financial and budget management systems for grant recipients, cost principles and allowable costs, procurement standards for grants, site visits and audits, and record keeping for compliance and performance reporting.


The primary learning outcome for the Managing for Federal Compliance workshop is to assist federal grant recipients in understanding compliance requirements. Training participants will also learn how to apply legislative and regulatory requirements within their grant funded program for compliance, and design a compliance management plan.
