"Whether we are poets or parents or teachers or artists or gardeners, we must start where we are and use what we have... In the process of creation and relationship, what seems mundane and trivial may show itself to be a holy, precious, part of a pattern." -- Lucy Shaw
About the Renaissance TRIO Training Project
The Renaissance TRIO Training Project
Designed for college access and college support practitioners who are employed in projects funded by the US Department of Education, the Renaissance TRIO Training Project serves TRIO staff with evidence-based strategies that support your role as a grantee. Our training offerings are aligned to the individual Absolute Priorities, and include delivery options that include a training seminar, technical assistance clinics, webinars, and professional coaching. Our menu of options are developed with the idea that training is not "one size fits all," and it is our responsibility to ensure that we prepare options that appeal to the diversity of communities that TRIO serves and the diverse needs of the cadre of professionals that serve as TRIO staff.
The Renaissance TRIO Training Project is funded by a grant from the US Department of Education, Grant #P103-A-180063 for the project: Evaluation Strategies for Program Effectiveness [Priority 1] and #P103-A-180059 for the project: Project Management Strategies for TRIO Directors [Priority 6]. We are pleased to serve the TRIO community of practice with evidence-based approaches to program design, evaluation, and management. We thank you for "choosing the Renaissance Experience!"
